Jessica Langlois

Ms. Jess joined the Stockbridge community in 2023 and has taught since 2006. She is a native Vermonter who prefers the desert. Jessica spent the first part of her career as a librarian but always loved working with young children. She got her bachelor's and master's degrees in Arizona in Spanish and Library Science. She has worked as a public and school librarian and an environmental educator and has taught English and Spanish. She used the pandemic lockdown to become certified in Early Childhood Education and hasn't looked back! She loves to travel with her family - she has recently visited Ireland and the Czech Republic. She is also really into running and usually runs one or two half marathons yearly. She has two kids in college!

Morgan Demers

Morgan Demers

Ms. Demers teaches 2nd and 3rd grade at Stockbridge Central School. She's now been teaching at Stockbridge since 2021. She graduated from Castleton University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education. Before coming to Stockbridge, Ms. Demers was a substitute teacher at Barre City Elementary & Middle School for 3 years.

Lisa Milligan

Ms. Milligan teaches 4th, 5th, and 6th grade math and science at Stockbridge Central School. She earned her Masters in Education from Lesley University in 2012, her Masters of Science (environmental science and policy) from The Johns Hopkins University in 1998, and her Bachelors (Psychology) from Connecticut College in 1988. She taught middle school science in Massachusetts; worked as a Paraeducator in Massachusetts and Vermont; and prior to that worked in the corporate and nonprofit sectors in various management positions. She lives in Pomfret with her partner Victor and their two dogs and two cats.

Brendan Hurley

After receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa and serving in the Peace Corps, Mr. Hurley entered into graduate school at the New College of CA to earn his teaching credential. He now has over twelve years of teaching experience working at various elementary schools around the country and beyond. He enjoys organic farming, mountain biking, snowboarding, playing in lakes/rivers, pickleball, playing guitar, and reading (mostly non-fiction).
