Jessica Langlois

Ms. Jess joined the Stockbridge community in 2023 and has taught since 2006. She is a native Vermonter who prefers the desert. Jessica spent the first part of her career as a librarian but always loved working with young children. She got her bachelor's and master's degrees in Arizona in Spanish and Library Science. She has worked as a public and school librarian and an environmental educator and has taught English and Spanish. She used the pandemic lockdown to become certified in Early Childhood Education and hasn't looked back! She loves to travel with her family - she has recently visited Ireland and the Czech Republic. She is also really into running and usually runs one or two half marathons yearly. She has two kids in college!

Mrs. Colton began her career teaching Kindergarten in the Pittsfield Town Hall where the Kindergarten program of the Pittsfield/Stockbridge joint school was housed. Over her many years of teaching, she has taught PreK  through 1st grade by themselves or in combined classes. When she is not at school, Mrs. Colton loves spending time with her family and friends.  You can often find her outside walking, gardening, biking, kayaking, cross country skiing….just enjoying the beautiful place she calls home.

Morgan Demers

Morgan Demers

Ms. Demers teaches 2nd and 3rd grade at Stockbridge Central School. She's now been teaching at Stockbridge since 2021. She graduated from Castleton University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education. Before coming to Stockbridge, Ms. Demers was a substitute teacher at Barre City Elementary & Middle School for 3 years.

4/5/6 Math & Science

Emma Hudson

Miss Hudson joined SCS this year as the 4/5/6 Math and Science teacher. This is her first year teaching. Miss Hudson previously worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland County as an Area Director. She graduated from Castleton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with an endorsement in Special Education. Miss Hudson loves to spend her free time hanging out with her four sisters and nephew.

Heather Hendershot

Ms. Heather moved to Vermont 2 years ago with her husband and their 4 daughters.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Concentration in Child and Adolescent Development.  Before she was a stay-at-home mom, she was a Librarian and a Preschool Teacher.
