Amy Braun

Outdoor Education

Amy has taught for twenty-five years, twenty of those as a kindergarten teacher. She has been in the district (at the Village School in Hancock and in Rochester) since 2003. Prior to arriving in Vermont, she taught in Arizona, where she earned her MA in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Amy also holds an MFA in fiction writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. In her spare time, Amy loves to play games or share meals with her family, take long walks in the forest, read thick books, and work on her novel.
